About the Role
This role supports the NAM and Senior NAM in driving commercial success and excellence within the UK Off Trade through collaboration with key stakeholders, internally and externally. You will be responsible for building and delivering the Joint Business Plan, managing key processes for off-trade grocery/wholesale customers, and having P&L responsibility for smaller retail partners. A key part of this role will be to support brand activation plans and drive supply chain relationships.
Responsibilities
- Support building and delivering the Joint Business Plan.
- Manage key processes for off-trade grocery/wholesale customers, including sales reporting and analysis, BUP building, planning and forecasting, budget management, and promotional evaluation.
- Have full P&L responsibility for smaller retail partners.
- Support brand activation plans, working closely with Customer Marketing and customers' media partners.
- Drive supply chain relationships internally and externally to achieve optimal inventory and service levels.
- Build and develop strong relationships externally with Retail Partners and internally with Key Stakeholders.
- Look beyond the outline trading plan and pursue new opportunities/ways of working to strengthen relationships and performance.
- Understand the customer and trading environment through time in store to drive sales and relationships.
- Ensure forecast alignment, analyze inventory to manage availability and stock cover.
- Work closely with customer service and demand planning to proactively communicate supply issues/challenges.
- Measure key supply indicators and work with supply colleagues to improve scores and availability.
- Collaborate with Customer Marketing to deliver activation plans, followed by measurement and evaluation.
- Share results internally and externally to ensure effective investment in brand driving activities.
- Increase share of space and customer engagement in store and online, focusing on omnichannel execution.
- Collaborate with RGM, BBI, Customer Marketing, and other stakeholders to develop commercial and strategic plans for sustainable growth.
- Analyze data and commercial insight to identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with category and BBI teams to build credible selling stories to increase and protect range and distribution.
- Ensure all administrative tasks (invoicing, promotional nominations, new line forms, cost price changes, forecast updates) are completed correctly and on time.
Requirements
- Strong sales and account management experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering brand growth in a highly competitive environment.
- Demonstrated ability to forecast and analyze accurately, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurship and an eye for new opportunities.
- Strong computer skills with current, or the ability to quickly build, proficiency in Google Workspace.
