About the Role
As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will deliver quality Waitrose produce and provide Partner-led service to customers. You will also support the team with daily tasks like stock replenishment and housekeeping, contributing to the efficient and productive running of the shop.
Responsibilities
- Checking delivery routes for the day.
- Loading and preparing the van for deliveries, ensuring all orders are together and can be efficiently delivered.
- Completing appropriate vehicle safety checks on the van, maintaining full road compliance, health and safety.
- Acting as an ambassador for the Waitrose brand while on the road with great customer service.
- Helping customers with their shopping and building rapport.
- Supporting the wider shop team with general shopkeeping tasks when required.
Requirements
- Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points.
- Great customer service skills.
- Time management skills.
- Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role (e.g. lifting of crates, moving cages).
- Comfortable working independently with the ability to be self-motivated and adaptable.
- IT literate.
- Must be 18-years or older.
