About the Role
DRW is seeking an OTC Cryptocurrency Trader to join their team in London. This role involves managing counterparty relationships, executing trades, and contributing to the growth of the OTC business. The position requires weekend trading coverage, with a regular schedule of three weekdays and two weekend days.
Responsibilities
- Manage OTC trading flow from new and existing counterparties
- Drive positive change in the OTC business with an entrepreneurial and innovation-focused mindset
- Identify and capture trading opportunities and execute trades within defined parameters
- Communicate closely with other offices on varying workflow initiatives and trades
- Work with internal teams (operations, cash management, legal, etc.) to ensure proper settlement of transactions
- Help to manage and optimize the cryptocurrency portfolio
- Work directly with other DRW traders and cryptocurrency researchers to gain market knowledge and expertise
- Provide weekend trading coverage, working three weekdays and two weekend days
Requirements
- 2-7 years of OTC trading experience
- Knowledge of cryptocurrencies and digital wallets preferred
- Strong organizational and math skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong initiative and a proven self-starter
