About the Role

We are seeking a new employee for our contact point in Neukölln, starting August 1, 2026. The offer includes low-threshold work with individuals facing substance-related issues. Our counseling team in Neukölln is looking forward to dedicated support. The facilities are well-connected to public transport (near S- and U-Bahn station Neukölln). The position is 35.1 hours per week (90% RAZ) and is a fixed-term parental leave replacement. However, we are explicitly interested in a long-term collaboration.

Responsibilities

Low-threshold, health-oriented counseling for individuals with substance-related problems.
Participation in the further development of the service and expansion of the concept.
Planning and execution of leisure-oriented and other group activities.
Counseling in individual and group formats.
Referral to further measures for participation.

Requirements

A completed degree in Social Work or a comparable qualification is a prerequisite.
Interest in regular professional exchange and continuous professional development.
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
Intercultural counseling competence.
Willingness to perform a small amount of outreach activities, e.g., in correctional facilities or clinics.
An accepting and open-minded fundamental attitude.
