About the Role
We are seeking a new employee for our contact point in Neukölln, starting August 1, 2026. The offer includes low-threshold work with individuals facing substance-related issues. Our counseling team in Neukölln is looking forward to dedicated support. The facilities are well-connected to public transport (near S- and U-Bahn station Neukölln). The position is 35.1 hours per week (90% RAZ) and is a fixed-term parental leave replacement. However, we are explicitly interested in a long-term collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Low-threshold, health-oriented counseling for individuals with substance-related problems.
- Participation in the further development of the service and expansion of the concept.
- Planning and execution of leisure-oriented and other group activities.
- Counseling in individual and group formats.
- Referral to further measures for participation.
Requirements
- A completed degree in Social Work or a comparable qualification is a prerequisite.
- Interest in regular professional exchange and continuous professional development.
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
- Intercultural counseling competence.
- Willingness to perform a small amount of outreach activities, e.g., in correctional facilities or clinics.
