About the Role
As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability and scalability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions that meet the needs of our fast-paced, agile development environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of automation test strategies to support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, DevOps) to understand requirements, define test plans, and build effective test automation solutions.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Enforce best practices in test automation, test-driven development (TDD), and behavior-driven development (BDD).
- Ensure high test coverage and performance efficiency across multiple platforms and environments.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and contribute to improving overall code quality and standards.
- Mentor and guide junior SDETs and QA engineers on best practices in test automation, test-driven development (TDD), and behavior-driven development (BDD).
Requirements
- Experienced Test Engineers with a passion for Automation testing.
- Expertise using Selenium, Java and AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Proficient in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including TDD, BDD, and continuous testing.
- Thrives in a dynamic environment, leading the charge in test automation and ensuring the highest quality standards for software solutions.
- Prefer applicants to hold high level security clearance.
- Must be a British passport holder.
- Must have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
