About the Role

Become part of the energy transition as a Business Development & Sales Manager for Heat Pumps B2B at Vattenfall Real Estate Energy Sales GmbH. This position offers the flexibility of a home office combined with active field sales in your local sales territory.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop business potential in heat pumps, focusing on the housing industry and GHD.
  • Build a robust sales pipeline, qualify leads, and develop opportunities to handover or successful closure.
  • Support new customer acquisition and development of existing customer relationships, actively contributing to growth and sales targets.
  • Build and continuously develop sustainable relationships with customers, associations, and relevant market partners.
  • Identify new cooperation opportunities and support the design and implementation of partnerships.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and networking formats, positioning heat pump solutions in the market.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product management, operations, and other departments to successfully implement customer requirements.
  • Gather market and customer requirements, structure them, and translate them into concrete action needs for relevant teams.
  • Support the continuous development of solutions, processes, and services to build a scalable and customer-oriented heat pump business.

Requirements

  • Ideally possess a commercial, technical, or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in sales, business development, key account management, or a comparable customer-oriented role.
  • Knowledge of the housing industry, energy industry, or building/heating technology is advantageous.
  • Ideally, prior experience with heat pumps or comparable energy solutions.
  • Proficiency in building and developing customer relationships and systematically processing sales opportunities.
  • Enjoy identifying new business opportunities, building networks, and inspiring customers with innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation skills, and a confident demeanor for navigating different levels within and outside the company.
  • Work independently, pragmatically, and solution-oriented with strong implementation skills.
  • Think entrepreneurially, recognize opportunities, and drive initiatives with self-motivation and commitment.
