About the Role

As a Tender Manager B2B Energy, you will shape our growth business with municipal customers. You will be responsible for managing and further developing our tender business in B2B energy sales, identifying attractive market opportunities, coordinating the entire tender process, and contributing to the profitable growth of our business with municipal customers through sound commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire tender process from participation decision to award and ensure timely submission of bids.
  • Identify and prioritize attractive tenders with a focus on economically interesting volumes and growth potential.
  • Develop competitive bidding and pricing strategies and coordinate the creation of required tender documents.
  • Analyze tender documents, contracts, and framework conditions using modern digital tools and AI-supported solutions.
  • Evaluate contractual and commercial risks and derive well-founded recommendations for action.
  • Ensure a balanced mix of growth potential, economic efficiency, and risk management.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, middle office, sourcing, legal, operations, and other departments.
  • Coordinate critical bid and contract content with relevant stakeholders and drive decision-making processes.
  • Support the continuous development of efficient tender and bid processes.

Requirements

  • Ideally possess a commercial, technical, or comparable qualification and have relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in B2B energy sales, tender management, bid management, or a comparable commercial role.
  • Good understanding of contract structures and the economic evaluation of opportunities and risks.
  • Structured, analytical, and data-driven work approach, proficient in using digital tools.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and maintain an overview of complex tenders.
  • Strong communication skills and confident demeanor at the interfaces of different departments.
  • Independent, solution-oriented work with a high standard of quality.
  • Ideally, knowledge of public tenders or municipal customer structures.
