About the Role
NBCUniversal's International Compliance Team is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support the company's third-party risk management program. This role focuses on ensuring third-party intermediaries are identified, risk-assessed, onboarded, and monitored in compliance with internal policies and relevant laws, particularly concerning anti-bribery, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, sanctions, and trade controls. The position will also contribute to broader compliance activities and collaborate with global teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing NBCUniversal’s third-party intermediaries framework to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal guidelines.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Third-Party Management System (TPMS), including user access and support.
- Guide business units through the end-to-end third-party onboarding and refreshing processes.
- Monitor third-party profiles and ensure completion of required controls and tasks.
- Manage documentation, record-keeping, and internal approvals.
- Produce and analyze third-party metrics and reports, providing insights to stakeholders and governance forums.
- Support compliance check-ins, assessments, and audits.
- Deliver training on the Code of Conduct, key policies, and the TPMS to third parties and employees.
- Conduct and review screening and background checks on third parties, including ownership analysis and identification of sanctions, AML concerns, and government affiliations.
- Review, monitor, and assess employee travel to high-risk jurisdictions, supporting export controls risk management.
- Manage Gift & Business Entertainment monitoring, reporting, and analysis.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for NBCU’s Speak Up Programme.
- Review external Code of Conducts and vendor onboarding questionnaires.
- Administer periodic updates to NBCUniversal’s compliance policies, procedures, training, and guidance.
- Review and test new compliance technology initiatives, including AI.
- Perform other compliance program-related responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Legal background is useful but not essential.
- Must be an organized professional capable of proactively managing open matters.
- Ability to prioritize and manage a broad workload to a high professional standard.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Great accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Proficient in research/agentic functions of AI tools.
