About the Role

Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of competitive and transparent compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with global frameworks and local market practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design compensation and benefits programs aligned with ASML’s global rewards strategy and local market needs in Japan.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking analysis to support data-driven decision-making and enhance competitiveness.
  • Support annual compensation review cycles, including salary review, variable pay, and equity-based programs.
  • Participate in global and local rewards projects, driving process improvements and policy enhancements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and stakeholders on rewards practices, policies, and governance.
  • Develop and maintain rewards policies, guidelines, and communication materials to ensure clarity and transparency.
  • Engage with external networks and vendors, maintaining strong relationships to stay informed on market trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or above degree in business/economics, HR management or other related fields.
  • At least eight years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience within a global organization and/or at a leading HR consulting firm is preferred.

Skills

  • Up-to-date and sound knowledge in the field of Rewards.
  • Operational and strategic skills in Rewards.
  • Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of local labor laws and statutory benefits compliance.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Fluent communication skill both in English and in Japanese.
