About the Role
Supports management and senior leadership in incorporating process and quality improvements into Intel's supply chain strategy. Defines material inspection methodology, conducts cost control, process control, and production yield studies, and implements plans to optimize the supply chain. Contributes to defining next-generation methodology capabilities for Intel's supply chain roadmap and explores emerging industry technologies. Identifies gaps between roadmap strategy, manufacturing capability, and market demands, recommending solutions. Tracks supply and demand trends, performs root cause analysis for improvements, and collaborates on implementing solutions. Leads supplier selections and drives product/purchase specification content for commodity performance compliance. Performs alternate sourcing risk mitigation and establishes control standards, KPIs, and monitors performance. Drives supplier process window validation and improvements in quality, reliability, yield, and cost. Maintains quality standards and systems, creating specifications to minimize variability. Leads quality excursion management and drives failure mode analysis with suppliers.

- Conduct root cause analysis to find opportunities for process and quality improvements.
- Collaborate with supply chain leads to implement solutions.
- Lead supplier selections for new business in partnership with commodity managers and technical/quality partners.
- Drive product and purchase specification content to ensure commodity performance compliance.
- Perform alternate sourcing risk mitigation for single sourced commodities.
- Establish control standards and determine KPIs.
- Monitor performance against targets.
- Drive root cause analysis for supply chain issues to arrive at solutions.
- Drive supplier process window validation activities on critical process modules through all stages of development.
- Drive supplier improvements on quality, reliability, yield, and cost.
- Maintain quality standards and systems, creating relevant specifications to minimize variability and subjectivity to align with operational capability requirements.
- Lead quality excursion management and drive failure mode analysis with suppliers.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Science or Engineering fields.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Semiconductor Fab, Substrates or Mother Boards or Assembly Test development or manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Semiconductor Fab, Substrate or Mother Boards or Assembly Test manufacturing process.
- Knowledge of Process development and optimization.
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations management.
- Knowledge of Analytical Problem Solving.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Hand-on skills and experience in quality management.
- Experience in data analytics.
- Experience in raw materials management.
- Experience in cleanroom operations.
- Experience in foreign material control.
- Experience in supplier management.
- Fluent communication and articulation skills in business level English.
