About the Role

Global Payments makes it possible for millions of people to move money using our payments solutions. We are seeking a driven, self-motivated Implementation Specialist to deliver technical services across ACTIVE’s enterprise software platforms, including database, platform, and infrastructure management, system integrations, and hardware configuration. The position works directly with clients remotely and onsite throughout North America.

Responsibilities

Conduct functional planning and scoping sessions with ACTIVE and client project stakeholders.
Design and Implement hardware, software, and data integration solutions with customers that satisfy their business needs.
Coordinate all day-to-day details for implementations.
Develop and manage technology deployment strategies.
Develop and deploy end user training plan.
Work with Project Manager to execute implementations according to plan.
Work with Project Consultants to coordinate functional requirements with deliverables.
Work with Support Analysts to facilitate handoff as project closes.

Requirements

Proven experience handling enterprise level customer projects.
2+ years of software deployment experience is an asset.
Business experience in one or more of the following markets is an asset: Ski & Attractions, Government, Parks and Recreation, Education, Not for Profit, Endurance, Sports.
Technical experience with computer and network architecture, database schematics, APIs, and SQL.
Certifications or professional designations in this area are an asset.
Project management experience.
Experience with ACTIVE’s software solutions are an asset.
Understand and communicate accounting best practices.
