About the Role

Support the Manager, CTP Portfolio in driving strong P&L outcomes across customer segments by connecting insights across the full insurance value chain. This role offers collaboration with various teams and external stakeholders to deliver sustainable portfolio performance, ideal for a commercially minded, collaborative individual motivated to translate data into business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Support the definition and monitoring of P&L targets across segments, including channel and scheme profitability.
  • Contribute to the development of business plans to ensure profitable growth and a seamless customer experience.
  • Identify and track growth and retention targets and opportunities for each segment.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of initiatives across the value chain, including CXM, Digital, Product, Pricing and Claims.
  • Analyze impacts to loss ratio targets in partnership with Reserving, Claims and Pricing, considering inflation, macroeconomic conditions and scheme experience.
  • Support regulatory and industry engagement on product and policy matters to maintain long-term portfolio viability.
  • Provide high-quality strategic and policy insights by analyzing trends and supporting senior stakeholders and industry bodies.
  • Manage and deliver regulatory data requests and submissions, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Build and maintain relationships with CTP scheme participants and stakeholders to influence and support scheme design and implementation.
  • Ensure governance through adherence to Group policies and compliance with Delegations & Authorities requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders across the value chain to drive outcomes and change.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to balance performance improvement with stakeholder needs and regulatory considerations.
  • Solid understanding of insurance pricing principles, tools and methodologies, with the ability to apply these to optimise portfolio performance.
  • Knowledge of personal injury and casualty product lines and the ability to develop and execute portfolio strategies across the insurance value chain.
  • Experience in risk analysis, selection and improvement, including applying techniques to assess exposures and manage loss outcomes.
