Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive advisory services in Facility Management (FM), Project Management (PM), and/or Program Management Office (PMO), including consulting, program/project management, and direct operational support.
  • Lead client/account team support during transition periods or in case of key resource absence.
  • Collaborate with the Work Dynamics Sales team to analyze client issues, develop and present solution proposals including cost and schedule plans.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and promote organic growth within existing accounts.
  • Support transition activities to ensure successful and seamless operational launch (DAY-1).
  • Collaborate with onsite teams and other business lines to drive account expansion.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders (internal/external), build strong relationships with clients, sales, onsite FM/PM/PMO, Legal, Finance, HR and other functions to achieve business goals.
  • Plan, manage and deliver small-scale projects in Japan; provide oversight/follow-up for large projects in partnership with third-party PM vendors as necessary.
  • Provide FM-related consulting (e.g., due diligence, benchmarking) and maintain positive relationships with all project/client representatives and key service providers.
  • Proactively identify, report, and resolve risks/issues in projects and programs.
  • Manage project finances to meet targets; achieve cost-saving/avoidance goals; submit timely requests and reports for cost and schedule changes.
  • Undertake transition and account management prior to operational launch and serve as interim manager until the appointment of a new manager, when required.
  • Propose and implement best practices and innovative solutions for organizational improvement.
  • Explore and implement new operational approaches, such as IoT and AI, for future business models.
  • Provide administrative support within the Advisory team and create sales tools and presentations, in collaboration with the Sales team.

Requirements

  • Fluent Japanese and English communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
  • Minimum 5 years' practical experience in at least one of the following areas: Facility Management (FM) – including building services, critical facilities; Project Management (PM) – including construction, fit-out, or capital projects; Program Management Office (PMO) – including program oversight, governance, and multi-project coordination.
  • Experience in managing project budgets, schedules, and cost controls.
  • Experience working in matrix organizations and managing vendors/suppliers.
  • Strong initiative and leadership to drive actions and resolve complex issues.
  • High capabilities in coordination, negotiation, issue analysis, documentation, and problem solving.
  • Ability to manage stress, prioritize, and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.
  • Highly goal-oriented and collaborative team player.
