About the Role
We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals passionate about infrastructure, major projects, or the services they enable. You will work with governments, agencies, and for-purpose organizations to deliver services to Australians, contributing to more resilient, equitable, secure, and prosperous communities. This role involves providing economic appraisal, commercial, and financial advice on large-scale infrastructure projects and complex service arrangements throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of high-quality business cases, reports, executive briefs, presentations, and board papers.
- Engage in strategic problem-solving and provide expertise in investment planning and decision-making.
- Participate in transaction processes between government, not-for-profit, or private sectors in infrastructure.
- Support clients through project lifecycles, from early-stage development to procurement and delivery.
- Build and foster relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proactively drive client engagement and related business development activities.
Requirements
- Experience working in government, the consulting sector, or on teams developing, bidding for, or delivering complex infrastructure and service outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or contribute to the development of high-quality business cases, reports, executive briefs, presentations, and board papers.
- Strong analytical and/or financial modelling skills with a strategic, commercial mindset.
- Strong verbal, written, visual, and data communication skills.
- Ability to craft narratives that influence decisions and resonate effectively with diverse client and internal stakeholders.
- Commitment to quality and a desire to contribute to a positive client experience.
- Desire to build a career in professional services.
- Existing industry networks and/or a desire to proactively drive client engagement and business development.
- Investment in personal development and skill expansion.
- Ability to obtain a Commonwealth security clearance.
