About the Role
First Advantage is seeking an Operation Specialist to manage the daily activities of the Japan Research Team, focusing on research tasks for assigned cases under manager supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform verification tasks including making phone calls to entities (HR/Edu/Qual) for employment/education/qualification details.
- Conduct reference interviews via phone calls to referees.
- Create and send verification documents (email, fax, letter) to entities.
- Engage in email communication with entities for verification purposes.
- Conduct online verifications.
- Update case statuses in internal systems.
- Perform CV checks by comparing resumes and background check vetting forms.
- Complete reports accurately and on time, including editing for quality control in English or Japanese.
- Update system with results received from entities/referees.
- Manually create reports and perform quality checks before submission.
- Address and resolve insufficiencies through the system.
- Mitigate issues as they arise.
- Update the Brookedatabase with records of communication with external entities.
- Translate documents between native language and English.
- Process GCM tasks using Winesp and GCM.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as required.
- Propose process improvements.
- Attend team meetings.
Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year of college education with office experience (preferably in BPO).
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Proven ability to work in a matrixed, multinational environment under tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of contract management principles, terms, and conditions.
- Excellent command of the English language and ability to handle conversational interviews.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and web browsers.
- Experience with Inbound calls/transactions is recommended but not required.
