About the Role
Brighte is building the platform to enable and accelerate the energy transition by making it affordable, easy and less risky to buy and sell energy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Advise the business on risk, identifying risks early and advising on risk-in-change.
- Own incidents and breaches end-to-end, driving root-cause analysis and remediation.
- Lead controls assurance through testing and independent reviews.
- Maintain risk, incident and Risk-in-Change registers and report to leadership.
- Improve the risk framework, tools and templates, and deliver risk training.
- Utilize AI for risk lifecycle management, including identifying, assessing, and monitoring risk and controls.
Requirements
- 6+ years in risk management within regulated financial services, consumer credit, or fintech.
- Experience in second-line risk within a regulated lender, with expertise in incident management, controls assurance, and operational risk.
- Ability to translate risk frameworks into practical controls, testing, and evidence.
- Knowledge of NCCP Act, Corporations Act, ASIC AFSL/ACL obligations, conduct risk, AML/CTF, and Privacy.
- Experience using AI and agentic tools for risk management automation.
- Proficiency with GRC tooling (e.g., Drova or equivalent).
- Discipline in using AI, validating outputs before reliance.
- Background and reference checks (police, AML, bankruptcy) are part of the process.
