About the Role
The Customer Experience Specialist is a motivated, detailed-oriented individual committed to providing outstanding customer service. This role involves working with stylists, processing merchandise, and supporting in-store events, acting as a key point of contact for customers and assisting with various store operations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers by being an effective storyteller and skilled at engaging with diverse audiences.
- Quickly understand a customer’s needs and connect them to services such as Online Order Pickup, Alterations, Styling, Returns, and Gift Wrapping.
- Communicate with customers professionally via phone and email, providing feedback on trend, fit, and style.
- Understand and support back-of-house processes, including inventory management and maintaining organization and cleanliness.
- Support event execution, including managing RSVPs, tracking customer contact information, and greeting guests.
- Perform opening and closing duties, following proper security procedures.
- Conduct light cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, dishwashing, and restroom maintenance.
Requirements
- A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
- Ability to identify opportunities that benefit the customer and build solutions to meet their expectations, including resolving issues.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new initiatives, concepts, and services.
- Proven success in working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.
- Basic understanding of technology tools and computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Booking Bug, and Excel.
- Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting them above the head.
- Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds.
