About the Role

As a Lead Architect, you will lead technology cases or modules within BCG projects to solve client problems. You will apply consulting skills to strategic digital and technology questions, partnering with clients to define IT strategies, architect solutions, and gain buy-in. You will also drive thought leadership, manage key stakeholders, and ensure client deliverables, with a focus on ERP/SAP offerings.

• Solve client problems using technology and digital expertise.
• Apply specialty/generalist consulting skills to strategic digital & technology questions.
• Partner with clients to understand their issues.
• Define IT strategies and architecture solutions.
• Win buy-in for recommendations.
• Collaborate with BCGers to transform client potential into performance.
• Drive thought leadership across the Technology agenda, with a focus on ERP/SAP.
• Take responsibility for technology/architecture projects.
• Manage key stakeholders.
• Ensure client deliverables.

Requirements

• 10-15 years' experience in strategy, management, or technology consultancy.
• Digital/technology and/or industry experience.
• Senior Technology Leader/Senior Manager/Director - Enterprise Architect with extensive experience in Industrial Goods, Consumer Products, Government/Public Sector, Healthcare and/or Energy sectors.
• Core system modernisation / systems of record experience in Banking/Financial Institutions; Mining and/or Consumer.
• In-depth knowledge of architecting solutions at an enterprise scale.
• Experience leading high performing technology case/project/delivery teams.
• Experience driving presales/BD, proposal development through to Executive C-suite client presentations.
• Credible technology leader with a passion for capability build, driving, developing and publishing thought leadership articles.
• Thrive in a hypothesis-led environment and ability to frame strategic challenges from a digital/tech perspective.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability and conceptual thinking.
• Excellent communication, story-lining, client-facing and consulting skills.
• Commercial/strategic mindset, presence and senior gravitas.
• Experience with Enterprise architectural frameworks and methods including TOGAF and/or related certifications.
• Flexibility to travel within A/NZ, Asia Pacific and globally as required.
• Australian citizenship preferred.
