About the Role
As a Licensed Beauty Advisor, you will impact clients daily by providing expert beauty guidance, teaching, inspiration, and play. Join our diverse, supportive team and grow with leaders who care. This role is for licensed, service-driven individuals who love connecting with people.
Responsibilities
- Achieve store goals by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
- Perform makeup, waxing, and other services from Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
- Stay informed about beauty trends and product knowledge to educate clients.
- Maintain active licenses and uphold health and safety protocols.
- Promote a culture of openness and empowerment.
- Follow company policies to create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Meet required minimum weekly shifts/hours based on work type (Full Time: 30-40 hrs/week, Part Time: 15-29 hrs/week, Flex: 4-14 hrs/week).
- Be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ensure punctuality and consistent attendance.
Requirements
- An active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where services are performed.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and goal-oriented environment.
- Ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
