About the Role
Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking student interns for an in-person internship with our Development & Outreach Department in the Sydney office. Interns will gain exposure to daily office activities, participate in staff meetings, and attend external events.
Responsibilities
- Utilize databases for event planning support.
- Support fundraising and outreach events.
- Collaborate with the team to cultivate individual donors, foundations, and corporations.
- Undertake other assigned projects matching intern interests.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled tertiary students for the duration of the internship.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proactive approach to projects.
- Reliability and a strong interest in international human rights.
- Valid work authorization in Australia for the duration of the internship.
