About the Role
BCG X is a collective of technology and digital experts from Boston Consulting Group, responsible for building businesses and products using technology and data. We combine strategic consulting knowledge with advanced expertise in AI, software engineering, product development, and UX design to support client transformation from ideation to implementation and scaling.
Responsibilities
- Lead product development as a Product Manager for new businesses and AI/digital products.
- Engage in various phases including user understanding, concept design, prototyping, development, launch, improvement, and PMF validation.
- Collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders to advance business and product goals.
- Drive planning, development, and improvement of new businesses and AI/digital products.
- Define issues, design concepts, and build hypotheses through user understanding and market analysis.
- Develop product vision and roadmaps, and design development priorities.
- Promote development through collaboration with engineers, designers, data scientists, and consultants.
- Manage post-launch operations, improvements, and hypothesis validation for PMF.
- Achieve consensus and manage progress with internal and external stakeholders.
- Co-create with partner companies, develop business plans, design organizations, and support fundraising as needed.
Requirements
- Experience as a Product Manager leading planning, development, and improvement of AI/digital products.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, designers) to drive product development.
- Experience defining requirements, prioritizing, and making decisions based on user needs and business requirements.
- Experience continuously advancing products through post-launch operations, improvements, and hypothesis validation.
- Experience achieving consensus with internal and external stakeholders and driving projects involving multiple parties.
- Experience in logical thinking and planning based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Practical experience in at least one of the following: theme setting and scoping for new business or existing business transformation, insight extraction through user/market research, design of customer journeys or business concepts, co-creation with partner companies, development and delivery of business plans and presentation materials, new company establishment, organizational design, or fundraising support.
