About the Role

The role involves growing a segment of the account portfolio by managing accounts directly or deepening existing partnerships. You will analyze business and operational performance to identify optimization opportunities, handle service delivery, and ensure the execution of account strategies while sharing best practices across teams and regions.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with customer account teams and key decision-makers.

  • Demonstrate awareness of policies, practices, and market trends impacting the organization and customers.
  • Analyze the financial impact of decisions and solutions.
  • Document business cases for change under senior guidance.
  • Maintain knowledge of financial data and standard contract terms.
  • Partner with legal resources to modify contract terms as needed.
  • Manage contract negotiations and contractual arrangements.
  • Handle key objections and seek management support to reach agreements.
  • Conduct cost, benefit, and risk analyses for proposed solutions.
  • Identify and engage stakeholders in decision-making processes.
  • Close deals effectively.
  • Apply product and technology knowledge to account strategies.
  • Develop an understanding of competitors' products and services.
  • Maintain ongoing business relationships with colleagues and external customers.
  • Develop value proposition statements and case studies.
  • Assess product and service performance against customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English and German.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in sales techniques.
  • Experience in portfolio management, relationship account management, upselling, and cross-selling.
