About the Role
Responsible for the overall management and profitability of table games on a shift basis while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Develops performance objectives and delivers performance evaluations for direct reports, implements all new table games initiatives as directed; actively participates in the recruitment and hiring process. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership and direction to the table games operations as well as develops performance objectives and delivers performance evaluations for direct reports
- Monitors table games operations on a shift basis
- Responds to and resolves issues as escalated
- Verifies requests for fills/credits on the gaming floor; verifies and maintains inventories
- Verifies jackpots and table games wins
- Assesses active table game performance/results and reports to the Shift Manager
- Trains team members
- Participates in all table games marketing initiatives
- Inspects the games area for repair, maintenance and facilities reporting
- Verifies team members timesheets
- Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and team members)
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- May perform supervisory duties
- Manages other initiatives as required
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Post Secondary education or suitable combination of education and experience an asset
- Experience in gaming management
- Leadership experience
- Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
- Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required
