About the Role
This role is for a versatile Editor/Photojournalist who will be involved in every step of the storytelling process, from shooting and editing to digital publishing. You will join a highly recognized and outstanding team with a history of awards and accomplishments.
Responsibilities
- Shoot news video, interviews, and daily assignments in the field.
- Edit content for broadcast newscasts and digital platforms.
- Contribute daily to KXAN.com and social platforms with photos, video, and written content.
- Work closely with reporters, producers, and digital teams to build strong stories.
- Manage and maintain assigned equipment responsibly.

- Strong storytelling instincts (visual and editorial).
- Ability to shoot, edit, and contribute to digital platforms.
- Self-starter who can work independently and on deadline.
- Team player who communicates well and adapts quickly.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
