About the Role

This role is responsible for analyzing market trends, supplier performance, internal developments, and objectives to drive Arrow's adder and quoting strategy. It involves facilitating communication and feedback, monitoring performance metrics, preparing negotiation materials, and supporting the negotiation process.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, internal developments, and objectives to facilitate ongoing development of Arrow's adder and quoting strategy.
• Facilitate interaction and feedback from segment managers, product specialists, and sales management.
• Monitor, measure, and report supplier market price performance.
• Prepare negotiation materials and support the negotiation process.
• Collaborate with technology business managers and product specialists to establish negotiation strategy.
• Develop strategic customer quotes and associated supplier strategies.
• Facilitate communication with suppliers regarding customer and quote priority.
• Monitor, measure, and report performance metrics specific to market price, segmented by supplier and selling company.

Requirements

• Possesses knowledge and experience in own discipline, acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills.
• Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers.
• Solves a range of straightforward problems and analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.
• Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
• Has extensive knowledge and experience in own discipline.

• Receives limited guidance and direction.
• Requires strong Excel experience, including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables.
• Requires experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Requires experience working with government drawings.
• Requires experience working with BOM.
• Typically requires a 4-year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Viable candidates must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen/national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee) due to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
