About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Supervisor to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will bring a solutions-first mindset, strong leadership skills, and a passion for developing technicians in the field. This role requires a high level of customer service, technical ability, and the drive to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support field service technicians across multiple job sites
- Coordinate daily schedules, dispatches, and job priorities in alignment with operational goals
- Conduct job-site inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets FirstCall standards and customer expectations
- Serve as the first point of contact for resolving customer concerns in the field
- Ensure all field service work is completed in compliance with safety protocols and industry codes
- Train and mentor technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning
- Review and approve job reports, timecards, and material usage documentation
- Assist with hands-on troubleshooting and repairs when necessary
- Collaborate with Project Managers and FS Superintendent to align on timelines and resource needs
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in industrial service or install roles
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- Valid Driver License with an acceptable driving record
- OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to after-hours service needs
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, blueprints, and mechanical codes
- Proficient in using service software, timekeeping apps, and digital job documentation
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and safely navigate ladders, rooftops, and confined spaces
- Able to clearly communicate instructions, coach technicians, and interact professionally with customers
- Capable of writing detailed service reports and communicating updates across departments
- Can calculate material needs, labor hours, and job cost estimates
- Able to interpret efficiency metrics and productivity ratios
- Capable of making confident, quick decisions under pressure
- Skilled in prioritizing multiple demands and solving complex service issues in the field
- This role is physically active and regularly involves walking job sites, climbing, kneeling, and lifting equipment or tools up to 75 pounds
- Clear vision and manual dexterity are essential to performing supervisory and hands-on tasks safely
