Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy both in person and virtually.
- Utilize initial interview and screenings to provide diagnoses and care planning.
- Collaborate with patients, and effectively communicate clinical impressions, while assessing strengths, barriers, and psychosocial needs.
- Interact and collaborate with community partners and emergency medical/psychiatric service providers to ensure patient safety, including whether a patient needs a higher level of care.
- Efficiently document using an electronic health record and conduct telemedicine visits, as well as communicating/meeting with colleagues virtually.
Requirements
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor.
- Passionate about working with the underserved population and those who may be experiencing significant barriers to care.
- Desire to grow a practice where you decide the best therapeutic modalities for your patient and work with them on achieving their therapeutic goals in an outpatient setting.
- Comfortable providing individual therapy both in person and virtually.
- Mission focused and passionate about improving access to quality mental healthcare.
- Proactive and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Comfortable working independently in a group setting while also seeking support and consultation from colleagues.
- Possesses extensive knowledge of DSM-5-TR.
- Possesses computer/technology skills.
