About the Role
Provides administrative support services for the intake of grievances against attorneys in Texas. This role involves accurate data handling in a deadline-driven environment with frequent interaction with internal teams, the public, respondents, and external agencies.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and timely enters data for incoming grievances and case status updates.
- Prepares and edits letters to meet mandated grievance processing deadlines.
- Responds to requests for information, searches databases, and provides appropriate public information.
- Organizes and maintains computer databases and physical filing systems.
- Assists attorneys and investigators with document preparation for grievance committee hearings.
- Performs other responsibilities and conducts special projects as required.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of experience in administrative office work.
- Experience preferably in a legal environment and working with confidential information.
- Experience working with deadline-driven processes is helpful.
- Requires exceptional interpersonal and business communication skills.
- Must possess superior accuracy, proofreading, and organizational skills.
- Must have initiative, use sound judgment, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks with efficiency.
- Must provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to problem-solve and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner.
- Requires technological competency, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Pro, Zoom, Teams, and Outlook Express.
- Experience using case management software is preferred.
- Ability to speak and translate Spanish is helpful.
- Requires a valid driver's license.
