About the Role

SPAR Canada is hiring Remodel Installer/Merchandisers to support a major retailer’s store reset. This temporary role involves building, dismantling, and reconfiguring retail store fixtures according to detailed layout plans. It is ideal for reliable, hands-on individuals who enjoy physical work, teamwork, and achieving measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and remove products from shelves, according to a specific planogram.
• Install, reconfigure, reposition and remove retail store fixtures to accurately reflect store layout plans.
• Adhere to retailers and SPAR Canada’s health and safety policies and retail practices.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting and bending repetitively during scheduled shifts.
• Engage in problem solving to support continuous improvement.
• Keep retail location and work area neat and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of prior experience with retail fixture installation, store resets and merchandising.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds with prolonged standing.
• Experience working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Reliable, safe and proactive team player.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Steel-toed safety footwear is mandatory on site.
• General use of basic hand tools such as a mallet, measuring tape, screwdriver, snips and pliers.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
