About the Role
We are seeking a Development Executive to focus on building our client base within the High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth Insurance market, with a primary focus on property and associated lines. You will be responsible for developing new and restoring old relationships, ensuring clients receive outstanding service.
Responsibilities
- Proactively develop and manage client requirements across their portfolios, including new business leads, quotation, and beyond.
- Assist directors with renewals, additional quotations, mid-term adjustments, and associated tasks.
- Develop and manage a network of introducers within professional services.
- Ensure all client data is up to date and accurate on Acturis.
- Negotiate with underwriters and ensure all documentation is correct before issuing.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure all clients receive a high level of service.
- Undertake due diligence checks on potential customers.
- Assist with credit control where required.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist directors with larger, more complex cases.
- Achieve New Business / Retention targets.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of the Private Client Insurance landscape, including exposure to Fine Art, Listed / Heritage Properties, Farms and Estates, and associated Motor and Liability Policies.
- Proven track record of generating new business within the Private client market.
- High-level communication skills (written and verbal).
- Sales, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Administrative and IT skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products.
- Good telephone manner with the ability to adapt to situations.
- A full driving licence is highly beneficial due to client visit requirements.
