About the Role

RAI Amsterdam is building a new data platform from the ground up using Microsoft Fabric. This role offers the opportunity to influence the architecture, data modeling, and development of a platform that will fundamentally change how the organization utilizes data.

Responsibilities

• Explore internal data sources and determine optimal extraction methods
• Design and develop data pipelines using notebooks for collection, transformation, and loading
• Model data using medallion architecture
• Contribute to platform architecture and structural design
• Utilize Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to make data available for analysis
• Monitor and improve data quality for consistency and reliability
• Collaborate with Product Owners and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to the long-term development and optimization of the platform

Requirements

• HBO level of working and thinking, preferably in IT or data
• Approximately 3 years of experience as a data engineer or similar role
• Experience with SQL and Python
• Experience with data platforms and data pipelines
• Knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric or Synapse
• Experience with data modeling and medallion architecture
