About the Role
RAI Amsterdam is building a new data platform from the ground up using Microsoft Fabric. This role offers the opportunity to influence the architecture, data modeling, and development of a platform that will fundamentally change how the organization utilizes data.
Responsibilities
- Explore internal data sources and determine optimal extraction methods
- Design and develop data pipelines using notebooks for collection, transformation, and loading
- Model data using medallion architecture
- Contribute to platform architecture and structural design
- Utilize Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to make data available for analysis
- Monitor and improve data quality for consistency and reliability
- Collaborate with Product Owners and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to the long-term development and optimization of the platform
Requirements
- HBO level of working and thinking, preferably in IT or data
- Approximately 3 years of experience as a data engineer or similar role
- Experience with SQL and Python
- Experience with data platforms and data pipelines
- Knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric or Synapse
- Experience with data modeling and medallion architecture
