About the Role
The Host provides friendly customer and membership services while maintaining club cleanliness and performing minor maintenance to deliver the Fit4Less brand experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and tidying tasks according to established standards and inspection guidelines
- Provide friendly customer interaction while working on the workout floor
- Contribute to an everybody cleans mindset
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleanliness tasks, communications, and training
- Report equipment or facility deficiencies to ensure appropriate resolution
- Welcome members and guests warmly
- Educate members on memberships, amenities, automation, and club processes
- Promote black card amenities and memberships
- Maintain a courteous and friendly workplace environment
- Address and report incidents of concern using standard processes
- Assist with membership management and sales
- Provide access and education on automated and virtual club options
Requirements
- High School diploma or working toward completion
- 1 year of teamwork or volunteer experience
- WHMIS certification
- First Aid, CPR-A & AED Certification
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stress
- Dedication to meeting internal and external customer expectations
- Effective time management skills
