About the Role
We are looking for a Take Off for our Scarborough location. The key responsibility is to safely operate and maintain the equipment/machinery to produce quality products as per the quality policy.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machine as per orders
- Follow instructions from the operator and be a team player
- Keep ample supply of bottom sheets available
- Verify print specifications with production copy
- Stack and pile units as per requirements
- Visually inspect for any non-conformances
- Take off the machine at or above the standards set by the Company
- Accurately complete time sheets
- Report all problems to your supervisor when they occur
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Policies and housekeeping practices, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Abide by all rules and regulations of the Company
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Basic Math skills
- Previous manufacturing experience is an asset
- Machine operation skills
- Organization skills
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts
- Must be a team player and self-starter
- Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal and background check
