About the Role
EPI is changing the way Europe pays with Wero, a digital wallet making payments simple, seamless, and secure. You will drive the successful implementation of EPI across the market, acting as the bridge between acquirers and the EPI organization to design implementation plans and ensure stakeholder coordination.
Responsibilities
- Onboard new members by supporting them through the process and co-designing their EPI implementation plan.
- Set up appropriate project governance for new members.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of the implementation plan.
- Act as the central liaison between EPI members and the EPI organization, guiding project managers for timely deployment.
- Manage all dimensions of implementation, including tech, legal, branding, marketing, and product.
- Facilitate sessions to resolve product, rules, and technical challenges.
- Lead and prepare steerco meetings with the member's project manager.
- Track and report KPIs, identify risks and mitigation strategies, and provide actionable reporting.
- Contribute to the fine-tuning of the EPI implementation approach.
- Continuously refine the roll-out and onboarding process with fellow implementation managers, focusing on standardization, industrialization, and experience sharing.
Requirements
- +5 years of experience in project/program management, ideally with exposure to banking, acquiring, or payment scheme environments.
- Solid background in product management.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
- Proven experience in leading IT or tech affine development projects.
- A proactive mindset and strong interpersonal skills to drive collaboration and problem-solving.
- Strong technical and business understanding of payment ecosystems.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work and track progress through KPIs.
- Fluent in English and French or German (CEFR C1 or C2).
- Dutch, or other European languages are a plus.
- Comfortable working remotely in a pan-European, multicultural environment.
- Able to remain effective and focused in a flexible environment where processes, regulations, and products continuously evolve.
