About the Role

The Senior HR Technology Analyst helps build and maintain a scalable, integrated, and future-ready HR technology foundation at HOOPP. This role supports the HR transformation roadmap through the design, development, testing, implementation, and optimization of Workday solutions and related HR technologies, acting as a subject matter expert and partnering with stakeholders to enhance employee experiences and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support HR business processes within Workday.
  • Define requirements and participate in configuration, testing, and implementation for projects and service requests.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including requirements, configuration, knowledge articles, and user guides.
  • Liaise with IT and vendor consultants for solution delivery and to stay current on product enhancements.
  • Maintain the integrity and reliability of Workday, including security roles and group management.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday business processes, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in semi-annual Workday release testing and implement enhancements aligned with the HR Technology roadmap.
  • Support internal HR users through demonstrations, training, documentation, and consultation.
  • Provide Level 1 support to end users by triaging, resolving, routing, or escalating incidents and requests.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve employee and manager experiences through self-service, automation, and process improvements.
  • Evaluate and implement opportunities to leverage automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies across HR processes and services.
  • Assist in planning and executing an AI and automation strategy within Workday and beyond.
  • Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to assess new technologies, pilot innovative solutions, and support the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Research industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience across HR technology.

Requirements

  • Experience with HRIS/HCM systems and core HR functions such as HCM, Absence, Learning, Benefits, Talent, and Security.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements, workflow automation, or technology-enabled solutions.
  • Knowledge of automation, artificial intelligence, generative AI, or emerging HR technologies and their application within business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders on technology initiatives and projects.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with a strong customer-focused mindset.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative team player who promotes continuous improvement, innovation, and learning.
  • Workday Functional Certifications and/or Workday Pro Certifications in one or more HCM modules (Preferred).
  • Experience with automation platforms such as Power Automate, ServiceNow workflows, RPA solutions, or similar technologies (Preferred).
