About the Role
We are seeking a modeler to build tools and models, focusing on production modeling and agentic workflow development. This role involves owning Flow's BIM and CAD catalog and developing software systems and AI workflows for scalability. You will work to ensure model correctness, which is crucial for company-wide decisions and operations, and collaborate with property teams to keep models synchronized with physical reality.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow a catalog of BIM and CAD models spanning buildings, furniture, and interior layouts
- Keep system models in sync with physical reality as buildings are onboarded, renovated, and reconfigured
- Curate models for ML pipelines, keeping data clean, structured, and correctly attributed
- Design and build agentic systems, agent skills, and software workflows for light supervision of modeling work
- Develop standards and observability tools for programmatic model quality verification by agents
- Own the R&D roadmap for modeling efficiency, identifying bottlenecks, experimenting with new methods, and shipping improvements
- Train team members on agentic BIM/CAD workflows and document standards for durable institutional knowledge
Requirements
- Command of parametric modeling, design-for-manufacturing, detailing, and dimensioning
- At least 2–5 years in a professional architecture or product design organization
- Proficient in at least one of Revit, Rhino, or Onshape
- Hands-on experience using AI agents to manipulate or generate CAD/BIM models
- Proficient in at least one scripting language: Python, TypeScript, or RhinoScript
- Familiar with PLM, document management, and revision control processes
- A strong communicator who can work fluidly across architecture, engineering, and operations teams
