About the Role
The Department of Mathematics, Physics & Geology at CBU is seeking a full-time Lab Instructor, Physics to teach physics labs, manage equipment, and potentially teach introductory physics courses. This position begins in January 2027.
Responsibilities
- Teaching labs in support of Physics courses
- Maintenance and management of Physics lab equipment
- Potential to teach labs associated with Calculus and Statistics
- Occasional delivery of introductory level Physics courses
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physics
- Teaching experience at the post-secondary level
- Direct experience in maintenance/management of experimental equipment (preferred)
- Masters degree in an area of experimental physics (preferred)
- Willingness to teach in different modes and locations
