About the Role

The Department of Mathematics, Physics & Geology at CBU is seeking a full-time Lab Instructor, Physics to teach physics labs, manage equipment, and potentially teach introductory physics courses. This position begins in January 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching labs in support of Physics courses
  • Maintenance and management of Physics lab equipment
  • Potential to teach labs associated with Calculus and Statistics
  • Occasional delivery of introductory level Physics courses

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in physics
  • Teaching experience at the post-secondary level
  • Direct experience in maintenance/management of experimental equipment (preferred)
  • Masters degree in an area of experimental physics (preferred)
  • Willingness to teach in different modes and locations
