Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently remove damaged auto glass, which may involve vehicle part dismantling.
- Clean and prepare vehicle frames or window areas for new glass installation to ensure proper adhesion and sealing.
- Install new glass or windshields using appropriate tools and techniques for a proper fit and seal.
- Test installed glass to ensure it meets safety standards and functions correctly, verifying alignment and checking for leaks.
- Interact with customers to explain the installation process, answer questions, and provide care recommendations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines throughout the installation process.
- Maintain clean and well-maintained tools, equipment, and work areas.
Requirements
- Must pay attention to detail and be able to prioritize.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 40 lbs).
- Valid in-state driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to engage with clients in a friendly, professional manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work independently.
