About the Role

Oversee daily operations at Goldfish Swim School, including staffing, pool maintenance, customer service, and retail management. Foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring high-quality swim instruction and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily operations according to standard operating procedures
  • Manage staff to ensure productivity, performance, and satisfaction
  • Train staff on swim instruction and customer service excellence
  • Provide sales and marketing training to qualified staff
  • Oversee retail and vending departments
  • Manage private party operations
  • Maintain proficiency in customer maintenance, booking, and scheduling software
  • Ensure a safe and sanitary swim environment through proper pool chemistry and pump room operation
  • Manage financial tasks including cash deposits, reconciliation, and budgeting
  • Cultivate a positive workplace culture
  • Implement and train staff on the Emergency Action Plan and safety procedures
  • Maintain current required certifications for self and staff
  • Schedule staff and manage payroll
  • Teach one swim lesson per week
  • Work one shift per week as a lifeguard or swim instructor

Requirements

  • Ability to work with children
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
  • Certified Pool Operator certification
  • Ability to obtain required certifications within 90 days of start date
