About the Role
We are seeking a Utah-based Architectural Designer to merge creative vision with technical precision for branded spaces, immersive environments, and architectural experiences. This role involves concept development, mood boards, storytelling, and producing accurate documentation throughout project phases. It's perfect for a designer passionate about narrative and form, aiming to grow in aesthetic exploration and architectural detailing.
Responsibilities
- Develop sketches, mood boards, diagrams, and narratives to shape project vision.
- Collaborate with architects and creative leadership to align inspiration with feasibility.
- Translate abstract ideas into spatial concepts and immersive branded experiences.
- Create drawings, 3D models, renderings, and visual assets across all project phases.
- Integrate consultant input and ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance in documentation.
- Support presentations, client deliverables, and design reviews.
- Conduct research on materials, trends, and building systems.
- Participate in site visits, RFIs, and mockups to maintain design intent.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of professional experience in architecture, experiential design, or a related field.
- Masters or equivalent professional degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both conceptual design thinking and technical drafting/modeling skills.
- Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Enscape, Lumion, or similar rendering tools.
- Understanding of basic building systems, codes, and construction terminology.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an eagerness to learn from both creative and technical team members.
