About the Role
As a Design Consultant, you will run qualified, pre-set appointments daily, delivering consultative presentations and driving sales for premium outdoor living solutions. This role offers a steady stream of appointments, strong marketing support, and the freedom to manage your territory like your own business. This is a closer's position for proven sales professionals in a performance-driven, high-ticket environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional, consultative presentations focused on value.
- Drive one-call closes whenever possible.
- Own the pipeline from first appointment through installation.
- Follow up strategically with issued quotes to maximize close rate.
- Generate additional revenue through referrals, repeat business, and local partnerships.
- Support nearby territories when needed.
- Maintain expert-level CRM pipeline management and communication standards.
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of high-ticket, consultative sales experience.
- In-home sales background is a plus.
- Consistently overachieved revenue goals, ideally in a commission-based role.
- Thrive in a performance-driven environment with clear metrics.
- Take full ownership of results, both wins and losses.
- Confident, polished, and highly persuasive in the home, presenting premium pricing.
- Ability to manage time, territory, and follow-up effectively.
- Must be available to conduct evening and weekend sales appointments.
- Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and utilize a ladder for measurements.
