About the Role
Serve as an integral member of the Live Production team, responsible for the production and management of various events including General Sessions, Product Launches, Dealer Meetings, Press Events, Special Events, and Consumer Events. Interface directly with clients, partners, suppliers, and internal teams. Act as a Senior Producer for events within the overall production.
Responsibilities
- Production and management of General Sessions, Product Launches, Dealer Meetings, Press Events, Special Events and Consumer Events.
- Interface directly with clients, partners, suppliers and internal teams.
- Act as a Senior Producer of a General Session, Breakout Sessions, electronic media or other ancillary events.
- Provide regular updates to the project lead.
- Proactively raise issues or concerns and work collaboratively to find solutions.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Offer input on staffing and resourcing, collaborating closely with project leadership.
- Manage key vendor relationships, including communication, oversight of RFP processes, and issue resolution.
- Ensure the closing and reconciliation process is completed thoroughly for the overall event.
- Ensure proper management and implementation of all GPJ workflow processes.
Requirements
- Deliver innovative, award winning projects that exceed client expectations.
- Collaborate within the Live Production team and with internal, cross-functional disciplines on projects, proposals and/or new business development opportunities.
- Bring production in on schedule and on or under budget.
- Effectively organize, motivate and lead other Producers.
- Strong skills in creating and managing program budgets.
- Knowledgeable theatrical and technical staging (lighting, audio, video and scenic).
- Knowledgeable in the use of social media integration in live events.
- Knowledgeable in rich media-producing videos, presentation graphics, digital media and printed graphics.
- Solid reputation as Senior Producer with past clients, employers, suppliers and staff/crews.
- Powerful resource database of leading creative, production and technical partners.
- Decisive: Make quick decisions while balancing data gathering.
- Accountable: Hold self and others to high standards, own successes and failures.
- Change Agent: Participate in agency evolution, support corporate decisions, navigate hurdles.
