About the Role

The Digital Activation Manager will manage client objectives and oversee day-to-day digital executions, delivering strategic excellence. This role requires a mid-level understanding of the digital ecosystem and a strong background in technology, analytics, and communication to drive performance results for clients through marketplace partnerships, execution, and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Support client portfolio for channel expertise with close collaboration of cross-functional teams.
  • Act as a readily accessible consultant for technical platform execution.
  • Proactively identify and discuss technology advancements and platform opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure active voice within cross-functional collaboration.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues to ensure clear understanding of overarching business objectives.
  • Effectively communicate and teach processes and best practices to peers and team members.
  • Responsible for overall quality assurance across key accounts, including data and reporting accuracy.
  • Regularly present analytical work to internal and external audiences.
  • Contribute to corporate mandates and staff education through POV writing, presentation creation, and sharing industry news.
  • Own day-to-day client budgets effectively and accurately.
  • Provide guidance for clients to ensure efficiency with media dollars across channels.
  • Be aware of various client cost structures and their impact on buying decisions.
  • Lead and develop skills across the team, being accountable for process.
  • Work with vendors to identify new advertising opportunities for clients.
  • Coach junior team members.
  • Maintain knowledge of digital capabilities across platforms and practices.
  • Demonstrate the ability to inspire action based on analytical work.
  • Understand the competitive environment and industry trends, assisting in the development of corporate strategies and POVs.
  • Provide meaningful insights and interpretation of data with actionable recommendations.
  • Track key media metrics and benchmarks.
  • Flexibility to work across platforms, supporting buyers when needed (e.g., Facebook, Amazon, Google).
  • Work with performance analysts to analyze data and develop data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Provide key support to the analyst team in online marketing campaigns, including analysis and optimizations.
  • Develop pre-project measurement plans and post-mortem project analysis with specific and actionable recommendations.
  • Build and maintain productive working partnerships with vendors, client teams, and agency partners.
  • Become the Omni platform subject matter expert within the team, supporting data-driven audiences, digital content, and digital analytics requirements.

Requirements

  • 1.5+ years of digital media experience, including buying, trafficking, analyzing, and optimizing.
  • Knowledge/certifications in DCM, Google Analytics, and social platforms.
  • Proficiency in media terminology, media math, and reach and frequency calculations.
  • Experience within digital performance and acquisitions (lead generation, ROAS) required.
  • Experience in key verticals such as Retail or Technology preferred or other relevant verticals.
