About the Role
As a Senior Market Access Consultant, you will be central to project delivery and success, working on complex project tasks, producing deliverables, and contributing ideas. You will drive smaller projects or workstreams, collaborate directly with clients, and mentor junior team members. You will also support managers and partners in project delivery and business development.
Responsibilities
- Leverage expertise in diverse country healthcare systems, key stakeholder needs and perspectives, and pharmaceutical industry capabilities & operations.
- Define recommendations and strategic implications to drive project conclusions.
- Design, prepare, and facilitate client briefings, presentations, and workshops autonomously.
- Prepare executive presentations, communications, and support material.
- Actively develop and mentor junior colleagues.
- Support senior team in business development efforts by drafting client proposal documents and nurturing client relationships.
- Contribute to internal company building tasks (e.g., marketing, recruitment, training).
- Lead interviews with healthcare experts, such as key opinion leaders and payers.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of consulting experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the US, including delivery and leading workstreams/smaller projects, with some global experience and expertise.
- Expertise in Market Access, pricing, and reimbursement.
- Strong understanding of the US healthcare system across all books of business and payer landscape.
- Experience conducting payer interviews and leading projects involving qualitative primary research with US payers and healthcare providers.
- Experience drafting interview guides, moderating discussions, and synthesizing transcript data into delivery materials.
- Experience with client engagement and running client meetings.
- Experience developing or refining US-specific payer value propositions or mapping US Market Access pathways for new/innovative products.
- A strong academic background, with a combination of science and business degrees being an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A collaborative and relationship-driven mindset.
- A structured, results-oriented working style that is adaptable to dynamic environments.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to work in the NYC office a minimum of 2 days a week.
- Authorization to work in the United States (U.S. work eligibility required).
