About the Role
You will take end-to-end product responsibility, from strategic roadmap to feature acceptance. You will collaborate closely with development teams, marketing, sales, and management, driving the connection between market, customer, and technology. You will utilize state-of-the-art AI tooling for effective, future-oriented product development.
Responsibilities
- Develop a clear, prioritized product roadmap based on market trends, customer feedback, and company goals.
- Manage the backlog, including prioritization and creation of sprint-ready user stories and PRDs.
- Oversee the entire process from initial idea through discovery, launch, and KPI measurement.
- Collaborate closely with teams in Berlin and Karlsruhe, as well as stakeholders from marketing, sales, and management.
- Utilize AI tools daily for documentation, analysis, and rapid iteration, focusing on making hypotheses tangible.
- Communicate visions and requirements clearly at all levels, from engineering to executive management.
Requirements
- Professional experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a digital environment (SaaS, Cloud, or B2C/B2B).
- Proficiency in agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and standard tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Understanding of API relationships and system architectures; ideally deep knowledge of open-source ecosystems (especially Nextcloud).
- Focus on measurable outcomes and customer benefits rather than just feature delivery.
- Data-driven decision-making, complemented by sound judgment and a feel for good products.
- High willingness to learn, open knowledge sharing, courage to experiment, and readiness to take responsibility beyond role boundaries.
