About the Role
As an Analyst, you will contribute to client engagements end to end: framing the question, doing the analysis, and helping land the insight. You will work alongside senior analysts who coach you, and you will use AI as a daily multiplier on your own work from the start. This is a consulting analytics role, not an in-house analytics role. The work is project-based, client-facing and time-pressured. Judgement and framing matter more here than how much code you write.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to analytics engagements end to end, from data preparation and exploration through to insight and presentation
- Help structure ambiguous client problems into clear analytical plans and testable hypotheses
- Build analysis using statistical, data science and AI-enabled methods
- Use AI to accelerate your work, staying alert to where it goes wrong, off-target or rests on a hidden assumption
- Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences through narratives, visuals and recommendations
- Apply quality assurance and keep clear, reusable documentation of methods and outputs
- Seek out feedback and build your technical, domain and consulting capability
- Deliver analytical work on time and to a quality standard, with clear links to business impact
- Frame problems before diving into analysis; avoid waiting for a fully defined brief
- Use AI tools actively and critically, recognising where outputs require scrutiny
- Produce clear, well-documented code and methods that others can reuse and build on
- Communicate findings in plain language with a clear recommendation or next step
- Actively seek feedback from senior analysts and act on it between engagements
- Identify and flag opportunities to extend value within existing engagements
Requirements
- Commercial experience: Real world examples of building solutions and delivering value in a commercial environment
- Technical proficiency: Fluency in data analytics tools and programming languages, including SQL, R, Python, and visualisation platforms
- Solution-oriented experience: A natural instinct to ask what the real question is and to structure messy problems without a clear brief
- Agile performer: Capability to move fast with care through a dynamic environment
- Intellectual curiosity: Active daily use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot, past the experimentation stage, and into building
- Ability to solve problems and think big
