About the Role
As a Design Manager, you will serve as a strategic leader within the Smart Experience Factory, bridging the gap between business, design, and delivery. You will be responsible for developing the design practice, managing a team of designers, driving business development, and overseeing end-to-end transformation programs for major clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and embody the design expertise as a transformation lever.
- Structure design offerings including UX/UI, CX, EX, Product Design, and Strategic Design.
- Identify and develop strategic accounts and business opportunities.
- Lead design pre-sales, including building value propositions and participating in client presentations.
- Manage end-to-end design and product programs from discovery to delivery.
- Ensure quality of deliverables, experience consistency, and user adoption.
- Advise decision-makers on design and product strategy.
- Structure design methods, tools, and assets within the Factory.
- Develop partnerships and animate the design community.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of designers and hybrid profiles.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in consulting, agency, or design studio environments.
- Strong expertise in experience design and/or product design.
- Proven ability to drive a strategic vision for design.
- Experience in business development, ideally within design or product sectors.
- Experience managing creative and multidisciplinary teams.
- Solid understanding of product culture and agile delivery.
- Sensitivity to tech and AI applications in design.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
