About the Role
This manager-level individual contributor role supports Axiom’s legal talent business in London and the EMEA region. You will focus on talent strategy, stakeholder advisory, and candidate experience, building and sustaining a high-quality pipeline of legal talent. Partner closely with business leaders and internal stakeholders while delivering a best-in-class experience for candidates.
Responsibilities
- Execute Axiom’s legal talent acquisition strategy in the UK, identifying, assessing, and attracting high-calibre legal talent through traditional and creative sourcing channels.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for lawyer and legal professional candidates, managing the full-cycle recruitment process with a positive, transparent, and efficient candidate experience.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders by providing insight into market trends, talent availability, pipeline health, and recruitment progress.
- Partner with business and talent leadership to develop customized, strategic hiring plans aligned to client needs and evolving market demand.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with legal talent and act as an ambassador for the Axiom brand.
- Stay current on recruiting trends, competitive dynamics, and developments within the legal industry to refine recruitment strategy.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional recruiting experience and/or legal experience, ideally within the legal, professional services, or regulated industries.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build credibility with senior-level candidates and stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to operate effectively with sophisticated, high-calibre talent.
- High attention to detail, paired with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgment, problem-solving capability, and confidence operating with a high degree of autonomy.
- A genuine interest in Axiom’s business model and the evolving legal services landscape.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
