About the Role

The Office Manager is central to the Workplace & Employee Experience function, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the New York office. This hands-on role ensures a high-standard working environment, supports employee engagement, and maintains office facilities, health, safety, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including cleanliness, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
  • Coordinate with building management, contractors, and suppliers to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records for assets, contractor logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Support colleagues with operational systems, onboarding requests, and general queries.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for office-related queries and manage front-of-house reception.
  • Coordinate workplace events, team socials, and in-office activities.
  • Manage office perks, amenities, and vendor relationships.
  • Champion employee experience initiatives and gather feedback for improvements.
  • Ensure office compliance with local health and safety requirements through routine inspections and risk assessments.
  • Manage office access control systems and conduct regular security audits.
  • Maintain and update office-related documentation and guides in Notion.
  • Collaborate with global counterparts to ensure consistent standards and processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an office management, facilities, or workplace operations role.
  • Experience managing vendors and contractors.
  • Familiarity with health and safety responsibilities and local compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
