About the Role
The Office Manager is central to the Workplace & Employee Experience function, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the New York office. This hands-on role ensures a high-standard working environment, supports employee engagement, and maintains office facilities, health, safety, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including cleanliness, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate with building management, contractors, and suppliers to resolve maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records for assets, contractor logs, and compliance documentation.
- Support colleagues with operational systems, onboarding requests, and general queries.
- Serve as the first point of contact for office-related queries and manage front-of-house reception.
- Coordinate workplace events, team socials, and in-office activities.
- Manage office perks, amenities, and vendor relationships.
- Champion employee experience initiatives and gather feedback for improvements.
- Ensure office compliance with local health and safety requirements through routine inspections and risk assessments.
- Manage office access control systems and conduct regular security audits.
- Maintain and update office-related documentation and guides in Notion.
- Collaborate with global counterparts to ensure consistent standards and processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an office management, facilities, or workplace operations role.
- Experience managing vendors and contractors.
- Familiarity with health and safety responsibilities and local compliance requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
