About the Role
This role involves working with various Axiom clients across all industries, preparing, assessing, and negotiating diverse commercial contracts, and providing legal counsel on contractual matters.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, assess, and negotiate diverse commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, client contracts, licensing agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters, including identifying potential risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and mitigating legal exposure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, procurement, and finance, to ensure contractual terms align with business objectives, negotiate favourable terms, and resolve contract-related disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
- 2 to 10 years PQE in-house legal experience (directly, or as a secondee).
- Specific sector experience in Life Sciences, Financial Services and Technology desirable, but not required.
- Right to work in the UK and be eligible to practice as a lawyer in the UK.
- Employment with Axiom may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check, providing proof of identity, and possessing the necessary legal authorization to work.
